Work With Dad And Horse Rides!!

Saturday we were going to help Miles mom move to Pocey. Before we could move her they needed to fix the water line for the rental house. Miles was going to leave early so that they could get started and head out right after lunch. Well the boys woke up right at 6:30 ready to go they were not about to miss going to work with Dad! They were so excited to go and were dressed to match dad's work attire. So out the door they went to Great Grandma's by 7:00.

Then while the guys were working the kids got to ride the horse before we had lunch. So that we could head out as soon as lunch was over.

Shay is starting to ride by herself and does really well. She likes to trot and gives me a heat attack it's better that I don't watch. She loves horses and I think she will probabley be our Rodeo Queen someday.


Stattyn likes to ride by himself also and is not afraid to let the horse know who is boss. He is our cowboy from the wranglers to the boots and wants a real cowboy hat.


And Braxlyn loves the horse just as much and was not afraid to get on by herself and go for a ride. This is when I hurried and took the picture and turned around . I was so scaried for her and she was just a laughing and smiling. Taesyn wouldn't get on the horse because last time Miles and him were riding out at Miles friends house the strap broke off the saddle and they fell off so he wanted no part of the horse "Do you Blame Him ."Anyways the kids had a blast and then we ate lunch and head out to see where Grandma's new place was going to be. We had alot of fun and appericiate all that she did for us while she was here for a few weeks.

Kids do the funniest things!

Yesterday in Taesyn Primary class they talked about birds and bugs. His primary teachers brought pinecones with peanut butter and bird seed all over it in a bag for each of the kids and then made some little feet and a beak for each one as well . As soon as we got home Taesyn insisted on hanging the pinecone in the tree so the birds could eat it. It was freezing and there was no birds to be found but we hung it anyway outside our frontroom window so he could watch for birds. Well today is a much nicer day and he has been watching and said that he wanted to get his feet and beak on and fly. I told him that he couldn't fly because he doesn't have wings well this is what he decided to do anyways.


It wasn't working so he decided he need to get up a little higher so up on the rock he goes.


And of course Braxlyn has to try as well.


Well he was pretty disappointed that he couldn't fly since he had all his new gear. What a bunch of goofy kids we have. And he is finely starting to LOVE primary he asked this morning if we could go to church again. He always asks if his Grandma teacher is going to be there(Marilyn). I'm so glad that she has made it fun for him and he likes to go now..

Visiting the Eye Doctor with kids!!!

Well this is a post without picture. I'm going to tell you a little about what my kids have been doing lately that someday I probably will laugh at. Lets start with other day when I took Shay for her eye exam Lorana (my mother in law) had offered to watch the kids and why I didn't let her is beyond me. She already had them alot lately and I was feeling kinda guilty for having her watch them so much. She had already had them that morning so I could go to a meeting and so I picked them up maybe 45 min before I had to get Shay from school. So we go to walmart to the eye place and I had told the kids that they had to be really good while we were there I said if you are good then I will buy you a treat after we are done. We get in the store and we find and little table with blocks to play with and they had a tv with 2 movie to choose from neither I had ever heard of. So I'm feeling out the paper work and they call Shay back she was back there for quite a while and the kids are being pretty good . Then they come out and ask if it's ok to dialate (however you spell it)her eyes so I said yes and they take her back again by now the two little kids are done playing with blocks and running around I tried to keep them in the eye center and not out in walmart then Taesyn says I got to go Potty (why is it they always have to go in a store) so I tell Stattyn to stay there and not to move and run Taesyn to the bathroom well of course the restrooms at the front of the store are being remodeled and so I have to run to the back of the store with Taesyn and Braxlyn in tow. Then we run back to the front and Shay is still in the back and luckily Stattyn is still in the same spot I told him to stay. Well 2 kids under 4 and a ton of glasses in a store is not a good mix. They were trying to get all the glasses and I was trying to keep them out of everything. I finally send Stattyn with a dollar to buy a package of M&Ms to see if I can get them to sit down for a minute well the scarffed them down and then they were on the run again. By now we have been here for a hour and a half .The Doctor comes out to talk to me and they are running everywhere and I'm trying to tell them to be quite and sit still . So then I tell them if they are good we can get some popcorn chicken from the deli in walmart when we are done hoping they would be good for a little bit longer. Well they had been at Grandma's and didn't have naps so I'm sure that wasn't helping the situation. So anyways they come back out and we need to pick glasses now which takes another 1/2 hr. so we have been there for 2hrs trying to contain kids. So I take them to get chicken and I order 2 litlle cups of it that is all I was getting and so I didn't grab a cart well Taesyn is bawling because he wants to carry the chicken now. So I try to tell him that if he carried it he would spill it so he is crying and throwing a fit all through walmart I have Braxlyn on my hip ballons from the eye store in my hand and chicken and dragging Taesyn to check out. When we get to the checkout I told Taesyn if he stood right beside me he could hold the chicken and hand to the lady. So he did awesome he stood there and when it was our turn he handed it to the lady and then he wanted to carry it back out to the car so I tried to tell him that it would get spilled.Taesyn starts crying again the wind is blowing of course I'm holding on to balloons so they don'tblow away and Shay is like I can't see because her eyes have been dialated and she doesn't know where she put the dark glasses they gave her.Taesyn is carrying the chicken and of course trips and falls in the parking lot spills the chicken so he starts crying again Shay hurry's and grabs the cup with the few chicken that is still in the cup and then she trips and spills the rest by the time we got to the car I was ready to scream. So what ever you do don't take kids to a eye appointment with no naps and that is going to take 2 hrs to do. If you have read this whole thing THANKS for sticking to the end and hope that you all had a better day then I did. Yes I Love my Kids today and would probably do it again if I couldn't find someone to watch my kids.

Shaykaela's New Glasses!!

Shay got her new glasses today. Shay keeps saying she looks ugly but I keep telling her she is the cutest little girl in the world. It's going to take her some time to get use to them. Hopefully now that she can see, her reading will get better and she will enjoy reading. She said that she could see her homework better and it was easier to read. We think your the most beautiful girl and We Love You!!!

April Fools !!!

Today I happened to be going to Nicholes house and as I get almost to my Mom & Dad's house I can see something on there front lawn next to the road. Now as soon as I get close enough I can see that there was a big sign but wasn't sure what it said. I was kinda in a hurry to get to Nicholes house and so I didn't stop but instead I call my Mom knowing that she was still at work. I ask her what was on her front lawn Laughing the whole time I'm talking to her she say "I don't know what is it " In a almost panicking voice so I just tell her she will have to see when she gets home. So she of course say if Margaret or Edith (her friends) did anything they are dead. Then she hangs up within a few minutes she is calling me back saying " IS THERE A TOILET ON MY FRONT LAWN!!" I say I don't know you will just have to see when you get home. She then says I'm calling Dad and if there is toilet on my front lawn he is hauling it off right now (because it would be at least 30 minutes before she would be home).Well I hurried at Nicholes and on my way home my Dads pickup was home so I stopped and of course he was laughing and I told him not to move it till Mom gets home and I get some pictures. So I run to my house for my camera and take some picture then wait for Mom to get home so I can see her reaction. She was laughing so hard and I even got her to sit on her new decoration for some fun pictures. Now a little about this friend of hers I knew who it was the minute I saw what it was because she has said number of times how fun it would be to put an old toilet on somebody's front lawn ...But she is always playing jokes on people and thinking of crazy things to do with alot of them being done to my Mom and Dad while I was growing up. Well I think she maybe getting a pay back soon. She has the craziest personality but thats what keeps my Mom and Dad young is there friends that they have. Happy 4th Birthday Taesyn! We love You so Much. Hope You have a Fun day with Presents, cake and ice cream, family and lunch with Grandma Dye!! You are growing up faster then I ever imagined. We love you!!!
