Family Time

Miles came home over my birthday so we decided to spend as much time as possible together. We took the kids to Cauldron Lyn that place is amazing but it scares the crap out of me. I made sure the kids knew how close they could get to the edge. We really didn't have to worry to much they were scared to get to close. After we went to Gerties for lunch and then went to Shoshone Falls on the way home it has a ton of water going over the falls right now..The wind was blowing so we were getting pretty wet so we didn't stay there to long we were freezing.

Taesyn takes after his Dad!!

Taesyn doesn't like school very much in fact he really struggles. He has to work twice as hard as all the other kids when it comes to classroom stuff. But this kid can take things apart in no time flat and put it back together just as fast.. He's a little mechanic he wants to know how things work and will sit and watch until he has it figured out. I was out working in the yard and he came around the house with Braxlyn's bike and said mom I want to see if I can put these tires back on. So within minutes he had the tires off,the seat off and the training wheels off. He then showed me that he had got them all off and was going to put them back on. He then had them back on in just a short amount of time. We happened to be at my sister this last week and the weather was pretty crummy so he wasn't aloud outside. He's not a kid to sit in the house and find something to do he has to be active with something constructive.Well my nephew just happens to have a go cart or a (goat cart) as he called it all week,no matter how many times I corrected him it was still a goat cart. So we brought it in the garage put it up on ramps Taesyn found some wood blocks to put on the back tires to make sure it wouldn't fall on him and with jack and few tools he was as happy as could be all week long. He ended up pinching his finger and getting a blood blister but don't all mechanics get those from time to time. That did not stop him at all he was right back out there getting it all ready to go. The motor wasn't working but by the time we left he had got my nephew to get it fixed so he could have a ride. He may struggle with things in school but I hope that he realizes how smart he really is. I've tried to tell my kids your not always going to be good at everything but there is something out there that you will do better in then a lot of other people I think we know what he will excell in!!
