A visit with Jolly Old Saint Nick

Our ward Christmas Party was last night and the kids were so excited to go. We got there just a few minutes early. Taesyn and Braxlyn almost couldn't contain themselves with all the excitement they had.We had a little performance by a group of singers and dancers and then it was time to Sing our hearts out to Welcome the Old Man himself. Taesyn's eyes were huge watching all the doors to see which one he would come through.Braxlyn wasn't quit sure what to think but after he came in she was pretty excited to go. Shay and Stattyn are to old to go sit on his lap so they gathered up Braxlyn and Taesyn and a few other kids that I have babysat and hauled them up to find there spot in line. They each receive a brown paper bag full of a orange, peanuts, and a little bit of candy. It was a fun night the kids enjoy each year.

what we've been upto

I know I haven't blogged forever so here are a few things the kids have been upto...
The kids went out and played in the leaves this fall.






This picture actually happened this summer. So the boys love to go to the Dairy and help Grandpa at the barn. Well there is a little ditch at the back of the dairy so when the kids got hot out to the horse trailer they would go. (They used it as there dressing room) Out to the canal they would go water boots on and underwear. So one day Grandpa called and said come on over and get a picture of this. So I snuck up to take the picture and they saw me and hid. Stattyn said Mom how did you know we were in here. It became a daily event that happened at least a couple times a day.

Braxlyn first day of Preschool

My little girl is off to school. Where has all the time gone? She has been my little side kick and I have loved every minute of it. She has been my hardest to send off maybe because she's my baby but I think she has been so easy and loveable.. She gives me so many loves all day long.. She actually gives almost everybody loves that she knows really good. I'm going to miss them while she is gone.But am so excited for her on her new adventure. We love You Brax!!!



She was so nervous for the first day of school. She is my shy one and so sometimes we really have to talk her into doing things. We talked to her and told her how much fun she was going to have at school.She still wasn't to sure about the whole thing. I told her to be super Brave and she was we walked in she kinda hid for a few seconds then I reminded her to be brave and I helped her find a chair that she wanted to sit at put her backpack on her chair and then she said bye Mom.. She was so Brave.. It helped that she knew alot of the kids in her class from church and dance class. After I went to pick her up she was so excited to tell me about all they did.. She can't wait to go back!!!

Trying to stay Cool!!!

The last week it has been near 100 every day. The kids are roasting so the best way to cool off is to take a dip in the pool. They have had so much fun this year and it's been nice I don't have to be right there constantly with Taesyn and Braxlyn getting older and Shay old enough to watch them.

Stattyn isn't around much with helping Grandpa at the Dairy but you can bet when he gets the chance to jump in he takes it.

Shay does really good with helping Braxlyn. Braxlyn is a little nervous about going under or getting her face wet

Shay finally got Braxlyn to put just a little bit of her face in the water. We keep asking her if she wants to do swim lesson but she only want to do in our pool.

Declo Days

Shaykaela,Brook, Ali, Briana, and Hailey were all in the Parade. They all had a ton of FUN... It was everybody except Shaykaelas first year and they all did awesome. After the Parade Shaykaela and Braxlyn had to dance in the Park and they did so well there also. I love watching them they are all so cute..

4th of July

We had ablast for the 4th we had a 3 day long celebration this year. We had face and body painting Thanks to Maddy.Then we had Spaghetti eating contest to kick off the
4th. Rules no utinsils and have fun. The boys LOVED it they thought it was the best and they will probably want to eat it like this next time. We did Fireworks, We went boating, And went out to Steadmans to have fun on the slide. My camera died so I don't have some pictures.

Father Son Outing

The Father Son overnighter was Friday and Saturday. The Boys have been counting down the days to go camping with Dad. Stattyn and Teasyn invited Kaedyn and Mason to go along with them.They took 2 fishing poles and had a blast.Taesyn loved fishing, Kaedyn caught the biggest fish and won a new fishing pole. Stattyn wasn't much of a fisherman he wouldn't leave his out long enough to get one before he was off running around again. Mason caught a couple also and had fun.

Taesyn fishing and loving every minute of it. I'm actually surprised he sat there long enough to catch some. He is usually our busy one.

The Boys had fun.. They slept in to long and missed breakfast but that didn't matter they just wanted to get to the fishing again. They were one of the last ones to come back home. They Loved spending time with Dad..

Summer Fun

We've always been told work before play.So to start the Summer off we all went to Grandpa's Dairy to help dehorn,give shots and move calves. I'll admit it's not very often you'll catch me over there.But we spent about 3 days playing Rodeo...Miles dream had finally come true his wife out roping and holding down calves.Now if only I was on a horse while doing this. I'm pretty sure that won't be happening. It actually wasn't to bad after you got use to the smell.I think the first day my stomach did flip flops all day trying to get use to it. Miles and Grandpa about died laughing when a cow kicked manure right into my face and I freaked imagine that.. Miles was closest to me so I grabbed his shirt and wiped my face down the front of his shirt SCREAMING the whole time.. SO GROSS!!!



And what would SUMMER be if you couldn't run in the fields Laughing,Dancing, and Picking Dandylions barefoot..Well Braxlyn and Hailey did just that making wishes with each one they found.





Todd let Shay and Stattyn puppy sit Charlie.They loved it they spent all day outside with him....
Puppies always remind me of Summer. What's more relaxing then laying on the grass with a puppy sleeping next to you. Then waking up and playing with you till they are exhausted again...

Girls Dance

The girls started dance this year with a new dance studio. They both had fun and like the classes that they are in.

Braxlyn was a little shy and cried the first 1st day of dance but now she Loves it. She has done so good.Braxlyn's favorite color is Pink so just imagine how excited she was when her costume was Pink. She loves anything girly and this outfit fit her perfectly. Isn't she the cutest little Princess...

This is Shaykaela's Lyrical Costume. She is in Jazz and Ballet She doesn't really care for Ballet but in order to do Jazz she has to take Ballet.She has done good and fits right in you can't tell it's her first year compared to some of the other kids that have been in for years.


Shaykaela's Class put on Annie she was one of the Maids and did Fabulous. It's amazing how each one of them work together to put on such a fun and cute show.She did awesome and I'm so proud of her.


Here Shaykaela is in her Ballet costume. She didn't really like this costume it was to itchy and she said she felt like a doll in it. If you ask me she was the cutest one. But she was a good sport about it and did her best..


I'm glad dance has come to an end for the year. By the time we got to the last couple weeks and going to all the preformances it is very busy. But all the extra performances is just so they can do there best at Recital. I hope that both of the girls continue to dance they are both so good and it gives them something to work at and get better in..

Welcome Baby Jayci

Kim had Jayci on April 28th. She weighed 6lb.4oz and looks alot like Hailey..
Look at her cute chubby cheeks!!

She was anxious to get here after Kim was in the hospital for 3 days then sent home on strict bedrest orders for 2 weeks. Finally the Dr. had given her the ok to come and she didn't even wait 24 hrs. before she was making her appearance. I think she might have a little spunk in her what do you think?

Taesyns Birthday!!

Taesyn's birthday was April 1st. He was so excited for his Birthday to come. We had told him that it was the day after Dratin came home so once we picked Dratin up at the airport he was asking if it was his Birthday. It was a crazy week so we didn"t actually celebrate on his Birthday but he really didn't care he never asked to open presents just when he got his cake!! We got him a big remote control truck and he loved it!!Happy Birthday We love You!!

Dratin's Homecoming!!

Dratin came home off his mission March 31st..We were so excited to see him.You would have thought it was Christmas the kids all were counting down the days..He has set such a good example for all of the cousins.He looked so good and had such a great spirit with him..
