Waking to Winter Wonder Land!!!

This morning we woke up to a winter wonder land. The kids begged all morning to go out and play. Brandon and Kim's kids were here and so we hurried to dress all 7 kids. That is alot of work for one mom. By the time I got all kids dressed and ready I had kids complaining that they were sweaty.Ahhh!!! We finally sent all kids out and they had a blast.Snowball fights, white washing and sled rides were all included in the fun. Braxlyn was finally able to go out by herself and walk in the snow this year without falling over and not being able to get back up. They grow up so fast. Soon one by one they started to come in with freezing hands,socks in the bottom of boots,and cold noses.Finally it was time to break out the hot chocolate maker and warm all the kids back up.

Spending lots of time at the Dentist Office

We have spent alot of time at the dentist office this week. First started with Shay when her tooth broke in half on Monday night while she was crunching on ice. So Tuesday I had to make her an appointment to get it fixed.We ended up being there for about 1 1/2hrs. Then today Stattyn and Taesyn had an appointment Stattyn had alot of permanent teeth coming in behind his baby ones so he ended up having a total of 4 teeth pulled. I feel bad for him because I had to have the same thing done when I was little to most of mine they just never get loose and the permanent ones come in which makes for a mouth of crooked teeth. But he was so good through the whole thing and was alot braver then I was at his age. Taesyn came out with no cavities and was happy that he got to pick a prize for being so brave even though there was a few tears stream down his face he did excellent for his first time.We were there today for about 1 1/2 hrs.If anybody need a good Dentist Dr.Garrard is awesome with little kids.So glad we don't have to do this for a while again.

Girls Night Out on The Town!!

Sorry no pictures.On Friday Shantelle called and asked if I wanted to go to Utah with her for the day. She needed to go get some vinyl and just wanted to look around at some of the crafts that are new.So of course I couldn't pass up a day away. We called Mom and Shalaine to see if they wanted to go with us. They all ended up having the day off of work so we headed out to met Shalaine. When we finally got to Utah and was waiting for Shalaine to get there we decided to go get a Jumba Juice. Well Shantelle and I got a Aloha something Shantelle had hers with an immunity boost since she was fighting a cold I had a protein boost Mom and Shalaine got a berry something with a protein boost. Shantelle tasted hers and said it was pretty good so we get out to the car and I'm thinking oh I have a good drink(Shantelle said it was good)can I tell you how gross it was. Shantelle said yeah I tasted it when I carried it to the car it's gross inthe mean time Mom and Shalaine taste there's and said it wasn't to bad. I was thinking how can you guys drink this.Mine tasted like a bunch of protein powder.Mom is trying to convince me it's not that bad I said taste this and hand it back to Shalaine and she about pukes then mom tasted it and was like ours does not taste like that I think they may have put everybody's protein into mine.So I ended up throwing it out. Then after some shopping we decided to go get some dinner at Macaroni Grill when we got there I told Shalaine we should tell them it's Mom's B-day.(I'm always pulling jokes on my family) So when we got in and told them how many I asked them who do we need to tell there is a B-day in our party.They told me the waiter well as I'm up talking the hostess Mom is sitting and she says to Shalaine she's telling them it's my B-day.Shalaine has never been able to lie very good and so when I get back Mom says your going to have them sing to me aren't you. I was like what are you talking about she says I'll just tell it's not mine it's yours. So I was like well I'm not going to be able to tell the waiter with her sitting at the same table so I bet her that I hadn't said anything to them about no B-day. The whole time we are eating they are singing to people and Mom keeps watching over her shoulder for someone to sing to her.It was so funny then we get ready to leave and I told her looks like I won the bet. Well right as I stand up the lady that was hosting walks past me then turns around and say to me did they come sing to you guys. So then I was like well she won't let me have them come and then there is my mom "it's not mine it's hers" the lady was alittle confused and said well if it is your B-day Happy B-day if not have agood night ladies. Turns to walk off and then asks if she can see my mom's driver license. Mom is trying as fast as she can to whip it out and we were laughing so hard the lady then says I am just joking have a good night.(Had Shalaine been the one to go talk to the lady about the B-day mom never would have suspected anything.) We had decided that we were just going to get a hotel and stay the night. Remember it was just for a day we were coming up so nobody had anything to stay with. Then we decided to hit a movie well it didn't get out till after midnight and then Shantelle wanted to go find a store to buy toothbrushes and toothpaste. Well what an adventure that was.Let's just say we couldn't find anywhere that was still open we got into a bad part of town. I really wanted to just go back to our hotel.We finally found a Smith's but like I said we weren't exactly in a safe neighbor hood. We pull in to and these people all dressed in black get out and another car pulls up and has a car load of guys some in bathrobes interesting I was a little scared I will admit it. I was like there is noway I'm going to get out so we left and decided just to go back to the hotel and ask for the complimentary toothbrushes ands toothpaste.Well we have drive back out the same way we came in because it was dark and we didn't know where we were.I was glad to get back into down town Salt Lake where things were familiar. As we are parked at a stop light there is a car infront of us the trunk pops open out jumps a guy who has a gag around his mouth his hands are tied up and he in His Boxers. He takes off running down the street and two other guys jump out of the car and take after him. We were like what the heck is he in trouble is it a prank. I don't know but there is interesting things that happen at 2:00 in the morning in that town we got to our hotel safely Thank Heavens!!A trip I don't think any of us will forget we had a blast without kids to have to take care of but I was sure glad to get home where I feel safe again Thanks Girls for the fun night out on the town!!!

Family Home Evening Football!!

It was Stattyn's turn to pick what to do for FHE. He wanted to play Football so we all headed out back for a fun game. We had so much fun together nobody wanted to come in and get ready for bed. Stattyn has got an arm on him and Shay can throw a good spiral.Braxlyn and Taesyn mostly played kick ball with Mom and Dad going between the two games. What a good pick Stattyn a night of fun for all of us!!!

Babysitting

I was able to babysit for a good friend while she went to a funeral.The kids all love her kids and were so excited when I told them they would be coming to play. Shay has been asking for a long time when she can babysit the twins. When she found out that they were coming she tried to pull the I'm to sick to go to school today Trick.But I sent her on her way and told her not to call because I would not come and get her.So I took some pictures of the kids playing so she could see them. Taesyn loved having a friend over and they played outside most of the time and Braxlyn was just loving having two babies at our house.They were so good not one cry Thanks for letting us have fun with your kids Brit!!
