Sunday Sleeping!!!

A few Sunday's ago Taesyn was running a fever and just wasn't feeling good.He wanted me to hold him and so I was trying to comfort him as the Motrin and Tylenol wasn't breaking his fever.Well it's not very often that he will sit still long enough for me to cuddle with him anymore. Miles had gone back to our room for a Sunday nap with Braxlyn and Shay was watching a movie,so Stattyn decided to come spend sometime with us and see how Taesyn was doing. Stattyn was being so cute with Taesyn trying to make him happy and even got a few laughs out of him. Stattyn asked if he could share a popsicle with Taesyn and we finally got his fever to break. My kids haven't climbed up and cuddled for a really long time and I was just really cherishing the moment knowing that it probably wouldn't happen again for a long time. To have both my boys and be able to spend so much time with them and watch Stattyn try to help Taesyn feel better. Well we all finally fell asleep for a few hours and Shay decided to take a picture of us and I'm so glad she did because I absolutley loved that time that I got to spend with them even if Taesyn wasn't feeling the best. I love these two so much and am so blessed to be their Mom!!!

Workin Hard for Summer Time Memories!!
The kids have enjoyed going to Grandpa's Barn almost everyday this summer. The boys wake at the crack of dawn ready to call Grandpa and see if they can go with him for the day. Stattyn has learned how to do so much this year he can drive the loader "by himself" he is pretty proud of him self. Push feed and scrape corrals, change the bucket and fork on the loader and is starting to mix the feed loads. He has grown up so fast this last year and is really becoming a hard worker. Taesyn would love to be able to do all of the above just like Stattyn, but Grandpa does let him help drive the loader. As soon as it is time to feed baby calves he usually is right there helping Shawniece he has become her little bud. Shaykaela helps feed the calves also and knows all of them by name almost without looking at there tags. She is also a hard little worker and when she misses a day she is devastated. Grandpa has taught my kids so much and is so patient with them as they learn new things. There are days when you go to the barn and he has 6 kids waiting for a turn to do whatever he is trying to get done. He could probably finish alot faster if he just did it himself, but he is always willing to take the kids and teach them. They have made some great memories with Grandpa and the barn. Braxlyn has not ever been out with the cows she will look out the window when I take the kids so I finally decided to let her out for a while for the first time and she hated the cows when they were close but she did get better before we left. The kids ask everyday if she can go help but I think we will give her another year. Thanks Dad and Shawniece for taking my kids and letting them help you!!!

Happy 4th Of July!!!
We had a party at Grandma and Grandpa's house and had so much fun.. Of course Grandma out did herself again By cooking Hamburgers, hotdogs and Pork and Beef Ribs that were sooo good. Then we had salads and chips and to top it off S'mores can I just say it was so good but I think we all had a stomach ache after. Then we did sparklers for the kids and had a few burns with Braylee and Shaykaela but was a good time had by all even with a few tears. Then for the big fireworks which Mason did not like at all and had his face covered the whole time saying he wanted to go home. And Braxlyn holding on to Grandma as tight as she could. But everyone else enjoyed the good show that the boys put on. It wouldn't be the 4th without the big one's. The neighbors were doing fireworks before we started and we were watching and then we started ours and after we were done Taesyn says " They didn't have illegal ones We had illegal ones" where did he get that I have no idea but it was pretty funny!!Thanks for the great memories Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Potty Training
I have been trying to potty train Braxlyn for a while now and she has shown no interest what so ever. I have learned from the other kids that they will do it when they are ready. So I would just occasionally ask her if she wanted to wear big girl panties and we would try it and she would just wet in her pants. So I would wait a few weeks and then ask her again. Well we have been at my sisters for a week and we went swimming and I forgot a swim diaper so I told Braxlyn that she had to tell me when she had to go potty and that she could not go potty in Nanny's pool. She told me and has been telling me ever since. She had 2 accidents this morning but I was outside doing things around the yard so it was probably my fault. She has done so good the rest of the day and even took a nap without wetting. Woo Hoo!!! I'm so excited hopefully she will keep it up and we can be done with diapers!!
